its probably something in your emotions. you may be feeling secure towards some people and not to other people. maybe cause shes your best friend for a reason. try to calm down and have an overall good day. take your mind off the nightmares and think about other things. go watch a funny movie.. or anything. just do something you like. have an overall good day and try not to think of any bad thoughts. when you sleep, you can try falling asleep to the tv so as you fall asleep your mind isn't on having a nightmare. its on the television. overall, just take your mind off the nightmares

You have nightmares because of anxiety and unresolved stress; you left out any details about your life in general, so I'm just guessing a list of things that you would need to seek counseling for to reduce the chance of bad dreams:

- Sexual abuse
- Physical or mental abuse by a parent or close relative
- Mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety attacks, paranoia, hearing voices that tell you to do things, constant fear of being in crowded places or the outdoors
- School problems or issues with schoolmates
- Having witnessed a traumatic event such as a crime, accident or violent death of another

Also, watch what you eat close to bedtime; eating and then going straight to bed increases the chances of a bad dream.

I have the same problem. Try your hardest to go to bed with peace of mind. Write down all your stressors at the end of the day and before going to bed, focus on the positive things in life. Good luck and i hope that helps at least a little.

Pray... Seriously! If you believe in God, then understand that He can keep you in perfect peace, as long as you keep your focus on Him... Even while you sleep!
