Excercising produces sweat and can make you thinner and more firm. But when is the right time to do it? In the morning, after you wake up? Or in the evening before you go to sleep?

Most people say, whenever you can. But i feel its more beneficial to exercise in the morning because life is not in the mix yet. There are always a number of things that can happen during the day to get you out of the exercise mood. And we know, consistent exercise is more effective than erratic exercise.

It really doesn't matter to a certain extent. However, I noticed that when I exercised in the morning, I had more energy throughout the day. The problem is I'm not a morning person and getting motivated to go to the gym that early is darn near impossible for me! Plus, if you are a first shift worker, it's hard to get enough time in the gym (or running or whatever else) before going to work. At least when I work out at night, I can stay as long as I want (which some nights would mean classes back to back to back and I'd be at the gym over 3 hours). Too, you don't want to exercise right before going to bed or it may make it more difficult for you to fall asleep as body has not yet had time to wind down.

Time of day doesn't make a difference, but rather the type and intensity of the workout you do. Weight training will burn the most calories, since your body continues to burn calories as your muscles recover, even after you stop working out.

High intensity cardiovascular workouts such as running or biking are also very effective, but as soon as you stop, you aren't burning calories anymore.

Diet is very important no matter which method of exercise you choose. A high-fiber low-fat diet with lots of fruit and vegetables, grains, proteins, and moderate carbohydrates will give you the ingredients your body needs. It is also good to eat more small meals throughout the day, instead of 3 big ones and breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You should exercise in the morning to boost your metabolism. It helps your digestion through the day, improves mood, and raises your energy levels for the day as well.
Exercising at night will disrupt your sleeping.
If you think the amount of fluid you sweat out equates to the amount of weight you lose, you're sorely mistaken. Sweat is the body's way of keeping you cool when you're working hard or if it's very hot. Always drink plent of water before and after exercising to replace the fluids lost.

Whatever works for you. If you run for 30 minutes in the morning, you are still burning the same calories if you run for 30 minutes in the evening. Time of day does not make an exercise more effective.

my aunt lost heaps of weight really quickly by exercising 4 times a week for 45 mins. but she also had to eat only fruit until midday ( as much fruit as she liked - that boosts your metabolism) then she could eat what ever else she liked for the rest of the day as long as she didnt eat three hours before goin to bed so if you go to bed at say 10pm you cant eat after seven. it worked for her.
