I ask because I've noticed that a bunch of famous black athletes have been getting pulled over in Miami Beach (South Beach) for DIU. It doesn't matter if they pass the tests they still get hauled in and their names are plastered all over the news. Dontrelle Willis of the Marlins being the latest. I know that they've got the money to party in major hotspots and sometimes go overboard. The Miami Beach Police must be unbelievably lucky in their work or else it would seem as if they are being tipped off. I just sounds fishy to me. Has anyone heard of such an arangement going on?

BTW Joey - I know one of the guys this happened to. He passed all his tests and was still hauled in. Pass the breath test and they still wanted to charge him. He had to fight it all the way - and won.

If they're guilty-famous or not they shoud go down. But what is interesting is that this area is full of drunks driving around. But they seem to pick off the athletes with precision. I was hoping some bartenders might supply some info.

We tend to notice things that stick out. A 400 pound man wearing a purple suit and a bunch of jewelry getting into a yellow Hummer with a large entourage and swerving down a one-way street with his headlights off and stereo louder than thunder attracts our attention.
They teach us investigative tricks like that.

There's a lot to be said for staying under the radar.

I would think that Bartenders would notify the local Newspaper Reporters who would pay them for the info. The Police know all the "Hot Spots" where celebrities hang out. All they have to do is sit and wait. No luck needed.

If there is a person of interest in the bar, sometimes the police put up surveillance posts and pick up the person(s) of interest.
