Me and My Ex went out for a year and we were each others first loves. I was 17 and he was 22. We were the best of friends, excellent lovers, but we were in diff places in our lives and broke it off bc we needed to live our lives, experience things/grow up/mature/finish school. We've been broken up for 3yrs and I myspaced him a week ago just saying Hello. He emailed me back immediately and was so happy to talk to me. He's moving to where I live over Summer (he lives 2hrs away currently) and we've been talking on the fone/txt msgs. We ended on good terms and I really do love/care about him and miss him. I just don't know if it will be weird ..? How do I know if he likes me likes me? My gut instinct tells me he does. I'm 21 now and he's 26 and I think were ready to get back together. I've NEVER got back with an ex. Help Please!

Sounds to me like you both just needed time and space in which to discover the persons you really are.....and in doing that you also both discovered you were meant to be together....Fairytales are made of such as this, go live your dream and claim your soul mate....Very Merry Xmas to you both from Downunder, Happy New Year together and many many more to come...

Get to know each other all over again. You and him aren't the same people you were 3 years ago. Who knows? Maybe things will work out for you and him this time. Life is about taking chances.

First make sure He doesn't have a girlfriend or even worst ..He's married!! as you said you haven't talked to him for 3 years, you practically don't know him really. And...just ask you this question...if you wouldn't have "myspaced" (?) him why he didn't reach out for you before?! just a thought!

Smile my dear! :-) It doesn't hurt to believe your gut instincts but it also won't hurt if you look at the other side. If he likes you, you'll surely know it if not now, surely later. But this is really a blessing for both of you. Enjoy every moment. God bless you.

You have both changed over time and probably sewed a few wild oats. Take it slow, things could be very good between you now. If it doesn't turn out that way he could probably be a very good friend

Well girl, it depends on what he was sending you and if he admits that he loves you and miss you like you do about him.He must have to have feelings for you if he's moving by you.Why don't you just pop it in a conversation and ask him.I have faith in you.

You are very lucky!

From your story it appears to me that this love business occurred at a young age and the reason for your break-up was rational.

Now you guys have a chance to rekindle past love. In fact, perhaps even continue it!

Take it slow, please. You guys are older now and more mature. I know this goes without saying, but get to know one another before jumping straight to the mattress.

Good luck and happy holidays!

it's all gonna work. Just try to forget three years of seperation. chance brought you back and you have to eraze three years of emptiness. It is all going to be perfect, just let it happen naturally, let it be the way it was, and don't be nervous. good luck.

Have sex first and then see if you can be bf/gf again.
