Well, I put a chicken and an egg in a race. It was over 100 yards. The Bookies were laying 2/1 the egg and 1/20 the chicken. Sadly, some one rung in a greyhound and it was he who came first. Hope that solves this age old dilemma once and for all.

The chicken. The egg comes from the chicken. It takes 2 to tango an egg.

When God created the Earth and he put the animals on the Earth he did not say "Let There Be Eggs!" He said "Let There Be Chickens!" So, therefore, the chicken came before the egg. lol Happy to Help!

the egg. Why? Because it could have been a dinosaur egg. Nobody ever asks: Which came first? The chicken, of the CHICKEN EGG?
See.

God created the chicken first. It says so in the Bible. If He created animals, then there would be no process for birthing the animals. ie: God's first horse couldnt have been "born" b/c that means there would be another horse. So there was also no egg for the chicken, just a created chicken.

In your question the egg comes before the chicken.
Most people say it the other way around.
Kudos to you for daring to go outside the box.
