The knot.com, weddingchannel.com, and brides.com all have wedding dress picture galleries showing some of the hottest an dmost bought dresses. From there you will find designers names and you can look at their websites. But if you have a few extra bucks to spend go buy a wedding magazine. Something like Modern Bride, Bride, or Modern Bride. Either one you will buy will do because they all three have the same advertisements. In the bridal magazines their are a million different websites to browse wedding gowns and when you find one you like you can find out if their is a bridal shop near you that carries that designer and you can go their and get better help. But remember that you really don't want to buy a gown from somewhere too far from home because it may not seem like a hassle at the time when you buy it but think about all the other times you are going to have to go. I bought my dress in Baton Rouge and I live in Lafayette. It's not really that far(a little over an hour,) but I have had to go 4 times already. And now that I need to get the dress altered I have to look around Lafayette on my own because they couldn't recommend anybody to me but a lady in BR. And I found out that a bridal shop here in Lafayette sold that same designer of my dress. So I could of gotten it in Lafayette. So do your research before you decide. It will definitely pay off in the end. But Good Luck and Congratulations!

Yes, the knot is awesome for browsing dresses! You can't actually purchase the gown from that site, but it's helpful for defining your style before you set foot in a dress shop

www.thebridalonlinestore.com

I found the dress of my dreams on this site and it was cheaper than buying it in a store. It would probably be double the amount if I went to a bridal shop.

DON'T USE Alfred Angelo - They use child labor. I got my dress fro David's Bridal. You really need to go to the shops and look in person. There was one dress I loved in the catalogs, but when I tried it on I looked like I had no boobs - It was crazy!. Congratulations on your engagement. Best of luck with your marriage.
