guy is in gr8 hurry to get married...may b coz of age...bt still, he shd undrstand a gal's xpectations n if a gal is tryin to delay the wedding, wats reason behind that???

Are you trying to break off the engagement or delay the wedding? You are a little unclear.
But, here is my best answer:
If the guy is in a hurry to get married, you need to start wondering WHY? Usually, there are bad reasons why a guy might be in a hurry to get married:
1. He had trouble maintaining a relationship for an extended period of time because of character flaws (verbal or physical abuse, cheating, dishonesty, drugs, laziness)
2. If he has kept a relationship for a long time, it is usually with a girl who did not have a back bone to leave him for the above list or thought she could change him.
My advice is to 1) ask him what his previous g/f would say about him (AND THEN LISTEN CLOSELY) and 2) check in with his previous g/f and see if it matches.

You don't necessarily have to break the engagement. Maybe you both just need more time being together and maturing before the actual ceremony. Take a couple of years if need be and get to know yourselves and each other. He can rush getting married all he wants but he probably won't be doing the planning and it takes two at alter for a marriage to happen. Lay down the law. Let him know that you feel he is being irresponsible and selfish. Set the date of wedding back and if he doesn't like it then break it off. You don't even want to marry a guy who isn't understanding BEFORE you get married.

well mayb the girl wants to think about makeing a another life with someone and that she wants to see it out and see if she really wants to play it slow and wait a few years befor getting married mayb bacause she might be young(like in her 20's) and he might be older and he wants to all ready get married and she dont so mayb they should sit down and talk about. What they both want and if they come up with different answers mayb its not ment to be and then they might see things a little different

she may want a decently planned wedding, not a 2 minute las vagas one. She may feel presured or confused. Ask. How about you write in english, not SMS language!!!

You have to be honest. Are you sure that she wants to break up or is it to just postpone it, or is it just cold feet. HAve they tried counseling? Sometimes talking to an uninvolved "outside" person is a great way to resolve communication issues.
