If you say "to me", it means I think it's dangerous, but if you say "for me" it means it's not good for me (it may harm me).

As you have them there is nothing of grammatical importance to talk about. You have used them both as adverbial phrases modifying dangerous but without significant difference to point out. All that you can say is if you like the word 'to' better than 'for.' I mean, grammatically it is juvenile!
I think you may receive some wonderful explanations of meanings that people imagine but which have no significance grammatically at all.
prepositions used as adverbs ... You need a recent dictionary as your problem is not with grammar but with the lexicographer or semantics.
Language is alive and words change and it is like looking at clouds and saying what do you see? You can look in a dictionary and see as it is seen in general. You get the current impression of the words use and meaning. But, I can tell you that they are gramatically words with uses and meanings that don't change much.

you can say either:

or
this poison is a danger TO me

It would be most correct to say, "harmful to you," but if those are my only choices, I probably would say "dangerous to you, " like, "toxic to you," etc. Now something can also be "bad for you," but that's another chapter.
