My dr. gave me bisacodyl to help with constipation after seeing it in an Xray. They are 5 mg tablets and he told me to take 4 pills at once, i am a little scared because everything i have looked up on it says 10mg is the most you should take in a 24 hour period. Is my dr. an idiot or is he right?

Read the instructions on your prescription bottle or bag. Call your doctor and ask if that was the correct dose for you to take.

Your doctor is correct. He is a licensed Physician, so, why hesitate?!
