I saw some little insects in my garlic does anyone know what they are or if they can harm u if eaten?

Probably those little mite things that get into cereal. I would doubt that they hurt you but they sure are gross. I am assuming it sgarlic powder which is about 2 bucks to replace. The risk of serving someone food with bugs in it....?? I think its worth replacing!!
My grandma always had a problem with those things until she mover her cereals to airtight containers. I still get nauseous when i remember seeing that in my cereal....
