You ask who is behind all of this, Satan, But at the same time we have to use wisdom , in Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of an holyday or of the new moon or of the sabbath days, 17: Which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ. So friend we have to know how to rightfully divide the word of God.

Well I remember a comedian saying something about it. He said we celebrate the birth of Christ because he was born to a Fat Jolly Guy wearing a red suit and that's where Santa comes from. He said we celebrate easter with the Easter Bunny because it is the Re-Birth and Bunnies are for Shaging and Reproduction. Also the Eggs are made of Chocolate because it matches the color of the Cross where they Crucified Jesus.

You are right. The devil is the one behind the false worship. One thing he uses is the love of money, which is the root of all evil.
Really we should celebrate Easter more. But I don't see anything wrong with giving things at Christmas, to remember Jesus. After all He had to be born first.

Santa was a Bishop in Germany that delivered toys to orphans on Christmas. Christmas was a holiday started to convert more pagans to Christianity. Easter was also changed as to convert more pagans to Christianity. Easter eggs symbolize the fertility in spring time. they just needed to change that so they invented the tale of the Easter bunny. Santa was just a coincidence just look up his real name Saint Nicolas you'll find that he was just a man doing his part in making the world a better place, people just blew that way out of proportion.

"Who is behind trying to phase OUR SAVIOR out and replace him w/santa...?"
Protestants! Protestants took St. Nicholas, a real Catholic bishop whose feast day is December 6th, and warped him into an imaginary "Santa Claus" who lives at the North Pole with elves and takes the focus away from Our Lord and Savior on December 25th.

It can be fun and very pretty. Little kids love it and it is for them.
I love watching the kids.
Celebrating Christ's birth is up to the individual to decide how to celebrate. You can not change the behavior of others. Just yourself.
