I must say that your selection is good and the man is a serious one. Now be very patient and don't show your eagerness or expose yourself in total in one shot. Try to take some help from him at your work (although you don't need) and then gift him something as a note of thanks. Ask for his birthday and gift him a rose. As he is a sincere man, you must be like him, sincere and less talkative. I hope you would appreciate that Love cannot be seized or demanded but it should spontaneously. So, try to close to him and wait and see whether he also likes you or not. Never be too emotional or sentimental else you may hurt your heart if he refuses. Just try to make yourself Compatible and Competent enough to be liked by Him.

Take some advice from the many office relationships that have not worked out--stay away!!! The worst possible thing that you can do is date someone that you work with. Either way if it works our or if it doesn't it always ends in disaster. Think about if you did date him and you broke up on bad terms. Would you still want this man sitting behind you every day. He may be mild mannered now but men seem to evolve into something nasty once their egos take a hit. Find a nice man who works in a whole other city, as that is infinitely safer that way. Good luck.

Why not ask ur friend to help u ask him out on a group date? There's safety in numbers and u won't be in an awkward situation for a first lunch date or what so ever.

Reading this would really help you
A BOY HAD CANCER AND HE HAD ONE MONTH TO LIVE.
HE LIKED A GIRL WORKING IN A CD SHOP VERY MUCH.
BUT HE DID NOT TOLD HER ABOUT HIS LUV.
EVERYDAY HE WENT TO THE CD SHOP AND BOUGHT A CD ONLY TO TALK TO HER.
AFTER A MONTH HE DIED.
WHEN THE GIRL WENT HIS HOME AND ASKED ABOUT HIM, HIS MOM TOLD THAT HE DIED AND TOOK HER TO HIS ROOM.....................................
SHE SAW ALL THE CD'S UNOPENED ...............
THE GIRL CRIED N CRIED N FINALLY DIED.
YOU KNOW Y SHE CRIED?
ÃOZ SHE HAD KEPT HER OWN LUV LETTERS INSIDE THE CD PACKS.SHE ALSO LUVED HIM.............
moral of the story:
if u love someone......say to him directly don't wait for the destiny to play the role.............otherwise u will lose that person..
Have a nice time -- remember this new year if you love some one then do let that person know

Sounds like a crush to me. Office dating, been there, done that. Bad news...Nothing but uncomfortable should it not work out, not to mention the office gossip. Steer clear and just be friends.

My first word of advice, don't date your co-workers because when you break up it's gets messy. If you still want to proceed, you could always do the "would you like to go for a coffee?" I find that is a good way to introduce yourself without it looking desperate.
