In any religion or any Holy book has said, you show to Almighty GOD how much visit Holy Church/ Temple or read books or love HIM, it's personal and it is only your internal feelings and satisfaction that makes....difference between men and animals .

No. We don't need religion. If GOD is Good Orderly Direction then the scriptures like the Gita ( which is the essence of Vedas and Upanishads ) is enough to guide us thru this existence. The Gita tells is what is right and what is wrong. But we need the right commentary. The verses are not of any use without good commentary. The best is by Swami Chinmayananda. The greatest of Gods were just lesser morals like you and me but they lived a life of spiritual perfection they got immortalised. So in the same breath anybody who practises these principles will achieve Divinity. This is a journey and not an end. Same with Christianity. The proverb by Psalm " Come unto Thee and I shall give you peace " means exactly the same. I am not conversant with the Holy Quaran.

God did noit create us expecting us to be marketted for a return. He has noit manufactured us for business >he did not create religion and he would certinly have done it if he thought that it was necessary,Now the position is that he does not know which religion he belongs to .
We think tha animals do not talk or the sounds they make are meanng less. it is not true . the sounds they make have clear meaning and is properly and perfectly understood by theanimals of the same category and othere animals too at times . The migh even be thinking that the humans ar blabbering wheras we thikl that they are blabbering . Man needed religion at a time when might was right and the mighty men had to be restrained and made to live a decent lilf in the society. Now it is not necessary to have religion to behave oneself decently.

Do u think that the only God that exists wants to divide His people up into different sections which, us humans call religion? It is people who create divisions amongst themselves. If we as humans did not have any will on earth, then the word religion would never have existed! God has His protocols, His criteria of what's wrong and what's right coz He knows His creations Best. So dont you think that it was God's Duty to have sent down a revelation like a guide book on how to live the perfect life? Becoz we as people are imperfect. Sometimes we like things that are bad for us, and we dislike things that are good for us. That makes us imperfect. So perhaps God did reveal, not religion, but His Way, His Criterion...but perhaps we as people divided it up and adulterated it to what suits us best, based on culture, politics and our desires. There would be no such thing as religion if the True Word of God were preserved. The world would have been united. This is what the Quran explains. But if people reject the Truth its not God's fault...nor is it mine and your fault. It is his own fault! You can bring a horse to water, but u cant make it drink....

Many people do not rely on religion to allow them to be a good person. For some, it is a necessary to follow religion either because it is so deeply learned in them, or they truly believe it makes them better. And, while we say animals do not follow a religion, humans are FAR more complex than animals. We sometimes do more damage to ourselves with our deep thinking and therefor need something to make us feel better and more complete.
The question I worry about is not why we have religions, but why people hate eachother based purely on the religion they follow. It just seems wrong to me.

God is for all creatures including human being and the animals. The difference between men and animals are that men have religion and the latter do not have it. Hence, the animals do not suffer violence on account of religion. But, that does not mean that God does not exist.

Your relationship and dialogue with God Almighty must always be a one on one bass-is,only be honest with yourself when interacting with Him.
Finally when you stand before your Creator you alone will have to give an account of how you conducted your life on earth through religion or with out it.

yes u r true, we don't need a religion to show our love to god. religion is the path, god is the goal. u can learn thru religion or thru life experience that god should b loved, but i must tell u that religion is the one that tells us we must love god. religions become transient when we start to love god sincerely, all great souls have merged in god thru love. once we r in that state then we don't need religion. but until then, i think we do need some guidance in the form of religion. like how u need a safety float while learning how to swim, but is not necessary when u've learnt swimming

Dude...!!! though we feel ourselves to be intelligent we never care for a road side accident or a murder but if the same happens to animals they gather together to express their grief..may that is the way they pray god... so we too should inculcate the same habit...irrespective of the religion we belong to.
