Yes. Skiing is a lot of fun. If you haven't gone skiing before try the easier slopes first. Don't be scared that you'll hurt yourself. Wear a helmet and it won't seem as bad. Trust me, once you start, you will love it. You won't even be worried about hurting yourself anymore. If you fall just get up and try again!
Good luck!

It takes a little learning, if you are good on rollerblades it helps. But once you get fairly competent, its a blast. Take a couple lessons the first day and by the second you'll be fine on a wide range of intermediate slopes. I learned to ski while in the military about 30 years ago and still go whenever I can.

Just get lessons, you will be fine.
I used to be a ski instructor many years ago...never had any trouble with anyone being afraid or anything. We start slow...very slow, and only move on when the student is ready. We teach how to walk around, get up, put your skis on, snowplow, stop, and turn, and then go up a small chair.
Get a lesson, you will be totally fine.
Don't get a lesson...no promises.
