9 is an interesting number...multiply it by a positive integer(whole number) and the digits all add up to 9....eventually.e.g:

9x6=54 5+4 =9
9x 43= 387...3+8+7=18...1+8=9
9x1234=11106 1+1+1+0+6=...you've guessed it ..9

3 not as good unless someone knows differently!
