The only way I can answer this is to use myself as an example (I am by no means perfect!) But I think a woman should be there for her husband. She needs to provide a type of security for him. A woman's place is in the home, and a man goes out and provides for his family. I think a wife should prepare good meals, have a clean home that he can come home to, share in activities that he enjoys doing (like fishing , sports ect..) A wife needs to provide a listening ear when he needs to vent about work or whatever. A husband should know that he can trust his wife, and vise versa. A wife should know how to manage the money responsably , make sure the bills are paid, groceries are bought ect. A wife should be a comforter when he is sick and she should have good comunication with her husband. (Men nor women are mind readers; we can't get upset if they don't know something; espeacially if we don't communicate with them) We show how much we love them by our actions; words and attitudes& body language. They need to know that we as wives only have eyes for them. Thats my opinion on what a good wife should be. Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but when we get married, we take a vow before God, and it's up to us to fulfill and honor that.
