If you have Windows XP, just dbl clk the .zip file and follow screen instructions.
The .avi is a movie file and dbl clk it should open and play on the player you picked as the default for .avi files. If it doesn't open and play, right clk it and select Open With. Browse for Windows Media Player and check it. Check the box that says (something like) Always Open This File Type With This Program.
Sorry, I don't know about .rar

download the "winrar" software and install it. And u open in .rar and .zip.
download "realplayer" and install it and u open in .avi

.rar is winrar....zip is winzip and .avi will open if you have media player....whereas .rar and .zip are compression software download winrar from downloads.com

if u r using vista,, then all downloaded files will be defaulty put in downloads folder,, to go to that,, u go to the user from start menu and then from it click on download folder,, in that u will found ur downloaded thing,,,, if u have changed the path,, then u can find the path this way,, download a another torrent,, when it ask u to save it ,, that time it shows the previous path,, thts the path where ur previous torrent file has been saved,, u can go to that path and find downloads,,
