Click the "Start" button, click the "Run" command and, at the prompt, type "DXDIAG" (without quotes) ans press "Enter".
In the dialog box that appears, click the "DirectX files" tab, write down a file name and then search for it on your "Windows" drive. In the folder you found the file you searched for, paste the d3dx9_30.dll file.
Although this methot MIGHT work, I recommend you to reinstall the "DirectX" software if a file is missing.

paste it on the desktop... it's the quickest way for any program to repair itself... that's what I do, when some of my components are missing... more convenient...
