Well I deleted windows media player off my system because it was always giving me problems and i now use Jet Audio and its free.

It is better to quote the problem or error... for any problem jus try reinstalling the latest version that is windows media player 11

check it doesnt need updating and also check in settings if windows media is the default media ok hun good luck

That is not very desriptive now is it !!
Download the latest build from www.microsoft.com/mediaplayer
Also grab some more codecs - something like FFDShow (search in google for it).

Depends on what you want to use it for!!! WMP is used to play some video and audio files. Make sure you have functional program...
