Perhaps because is is their name? or because they like daisies? After all, I'm not really a gypsy -- I just play on on Y!A. :-) That's what nicknames are for...

Names are not religious. They are based on national origin, not belief. You are making the erroneous assumption that all Muslims are from the Middle East and have Arabic names. This is highly inaccurate. There are Muslims all over the world and they usually have names that reflect their ethnic (national) background.

We all know the Almighty created Adam and Eve as living souls on this earth and blessed them to multiply and replenish the earth.

We are all sons and daughters created by the Almighty Eternal Creator God.

Read the verse from the Holy Bible

Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

Gen 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

1Ch 1:28 The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.

Jud 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

People of both Muslims and Christian groups know that they have Abraham as one of their great ancestor who believed and obeyed God.

May God bless you and reveal his will in you. In Jesus name. Amen

Daisy is the name of a flower, you idiot. I'm sure you can use Marissa instead of Meryem. Are you aware that most religious Christian names and Muslim names come from the same root, same language base? Jesus-Isa, Abraham-Ibrahim, Joshua-Yeshua, Mary-Maria-Meryem? God, you are so ignorant!

A nick name can be anything. You want a nick name?

Well when i was young my mom used to call me Amy..

For goodness sake why call me Amy? isn't Amy a girls name? No a nick name is given to a person that the giver thinks best to describe that person.

Like some people may call you Philip why? because they really mean paedophile.

Its up to Muslims its up to you its up to Athiest what nickname they want.

Dont get jealous its only a name.

I want to give you a nickname, I think i will call you HARRY
