You need to things to tackle this: (1) an antihistamine for your drippy, running nose and (2) a decongestant to unblock your sinus canals. I assume that you're in the UK, in which case pop down to your nearest chemist and buy something like Day Nurse for the daytime and then take Night Nurse when you're ready to go to bed. Both products are extremely effective. I hope you're feeling better soon, and happy Christmas to you!

Grab a handful of cedar branches, bring a kettle of water to a boil, then pour the water over the branches in a soup pot or basin. Drape a towel over your head and breathe in the steam for about fifteen minutes. That will definitely unblock your nasal passages.

It won't cost you anything, and hey, it will clean your pores, too!

Sounds like blocked sinuses, try the old trick of putting your head over a bowl of steaming hot water with some essential oils or vicks disolved in, put a towel over your head to keep the steam from drifting away, failing that see your doctor to check there isnt an underlying problem

This is something that my father does and it seems to work for him. Use cold water and try inhaling it to about midway up your nostrils (don't inhale it too much because then it goes up way too high in your sinuses and makes your eyes sting etc.) and then let it drain down, do this several times and it should help. Most stuffy nose feelings are caused by the blood vessels being swollen (I think) - so using cold water should reduce the swelling.

I usually eat something spicy such as salsa with jalopenoes. It will unstop your nose and stop the running for awhile. You can also try Vicks Vaborub and benadryl. It has helped me as well. Good luck! Nearly forgot, get in a hot shower and that can help loosen things up.

Sniff Vicks....... works for my kids, Either rub some on your chest or put a spoonful in some boiling water and use it like a vapouriser. Cheap and effective....Seriously.
