You can still grow without any help.
You also can go to an endocrinologist, but that is messing up your metabolism, but if you still want to know from first hand, visit the MD, to get safe information,

Lose weight - you're clinically obese. Fortunately for you you're only 17 so if you apply yourself you could get down to a reasonable weight such as 75 kilos relatively rapidly - say, in the next 18 months. The process of losing those 25 kilos (approximately the weight of a seven year old child) will boost your metabolism and you're likely to add at least another three inches to your height before your 25th birthday.
In order to lose weight you need to exersize and stop eating massive quantities of food before slumping in front of the television/computer. Try playing a team sport - I like rugby, it's good fun and will make you hard as nails, just like me.

Unless you want to stretch your spine by hanging yourself and dying, there's really no way that you can grow any taller than you are genetically predispositioned to grow. However, there are some ways that you can reach the highest height which is possible for you....you need to get plenty of protein, vitamins, minerals, exercise, water, and sleep. You don't have a whole lot of time left, though. Most growing is done in the teen years, and guys are usually through with it by 21.
Also, don't feel like there is anything wrong with you! 5'9" is a wonderful height for a guy.

There is still a chance that your growth plates are not completley closed yet. Some men still have open growth plates up to age 25, you should take advantage of 'last chance' to grow and make sure your body is producing enought HGH (human growth hormones) to sustain any more potential height gain, check out http://www.hghforheight.com there are many lifestyle factors that you can adopt to optimize your natural HGH production. If unfortunately that your growth plates are completely closed, you can still grow taller with spine lengthening technique which has been shown that it can add up to 2-3 inches to your overall height. Spine lengthening can be done with various stretching exercises, they are well-documented in http://www.giantscientific.com . Exercises like yoga or pilates have been very effective in elongating the spine, http://www.thepilatesguide.com

At 17 there is a good chance you will add that much height. There really isn't anything you can do though - just wait and see.

I hope you are male. After 18 you won't grow anymore much but I wouldn't worry about it with your slight weight.

Kill yourself and hope to be reincarnated as a taller boy. You can't it's genetics. Unless you get that weird surgery they do on midgets, where they break there bones and space them.
