You must get professional help at once-----the holiday season truly brings out the worst in people----suicide rates soar and so do admissions to psychiatric facilities (good way to avoid suicides)-----------GET HELP FAST--------REALLY!

Just be a friend tell them that you are there for them and ring them regularly If you can invite them out it might be the thing they need.

kath, if you think your friend could be hurting themselves or attempting suicide then call 911 so the police can do a check the welfare. If it's non-emergent then be there for them and seek professional help for them.

hey...this is the time you must be very careful... don't leave him alone.. don't allow to be quiet, talk to him and engage him in some other activities or get him to some hang out places and make him to forget things...make him to understand that everything is temporary..
