I Have the Sony HT-SF1000 Home theatre System the TV is a Panasonic TX-26LXD60 I can get sound for DVD's and Cd's but not from the TV

If you have the proper connections available on the TV and on your home theater receiver, just make those connections -and voila! Here's a photo and a description (notice in the top right photo) of what you will need...

You need to make sure that you have an av connection ( the three coloured connections red, whit, and yellow) running from the back of your tv into the DVD player. you probably already have a scart cable enabling you to watch dvds' etc but for the TV sound you will need the AV connection.

If all else fails you can run a lead from the T.V.'s headphone socket to the amp. you should be able to pick one up from Dixon's, Curry's or a similar type of shop. A word of caution make sure the T.V.'s volume is very low before you fire up the amp.
