I can't figure that one out for the life of me. It's nice to enjoy a cocktail with friends. I can even see getting a little buzz going. But to drink to the point of inebreation makes no sense to me. Don't tell me that feels good. Yet people do it all the time. I don't get it and I doubt I ever will.

It's an excuse for people to behave in ways they can't (or ways they feel they can't) when they're sober.."sorry, I was drunk" seems to count as an adequate excuse the next day! Which it isn't. It has its merits though, sometimes just leaving behind the stresses of reality for a few hours is great!

you forget all the crap that goes with life for one night. i do once a month and it is awesome... best way to drink.
