I think it is as believable as believing that Jesus walked on water or rose from the dead -- possibly more so!

The Qur'an does not say the angel flew -- angels with wings are an artistic device, not a spiritual reality. And the guess that it flew from the moon is your own speculation with no basis in Islam or reality. The Angel first appeared to Muhammad in a cave on Mt. Hira. The reason to believe is the Qur'an -- a Book given to us by an illiterate Man.

All stories like this are hard to believe if you think logically and rationally.

Can you really believe that a woman conceived without knowing a man and that an angel came to her and her husband to tell them a god was responsible? No one else witnessed this so why should it be taken for granted?

All religions are based of faith, personly i dont believe that particular instance, because i think that if somthing is true then more then one person will have seen it. For instance in the Bible all events took place around alot of people nothing is written in there that only one person saw.

Why should you believe supernatural claims in any religion? No reason. That's why they require suspension of disbelief, or "faith". If you approach it logically, of course you shouldn't believe this any more than tales of virgin birth, resurrection, or waving whole species into being.

To some who answered this question: God (the Judeo-Christian one) is above reason and logic.

Its your mistake....why weren't you born at that time when the message was given to the prophet mohomed.
So pay for your mistakes.......just beleive it.

it's certainly your choice to either have faith or not. examine the message with an open mind and make your decision.
