i have a large tattoo that i want to remove but do not want to pay the fees of having it laser removed. I have read some sites selling trichloroacetic acid that is supposed to remove tattoos but I would like to know if it really works or not.

Don't do it without medical supervision! If you don't you can end up with a bigger mess than you started with. Trichloroacetic Acid is an ACID, it will burn you if you do not work with it correctly, giving you a scar. Trichloroacetic Acid is made out of Cholorine and Acetic Acid, therefore it is not only corrosive, but it is dangerous to the earth. If it is dangerous to the earth, think what that means you are putting on your skin.

That isn't very safe to do. If you want it removed seek medical advice. If you don't have enough money for that then settle for a makeup that will have a heavy coverage made for covering tattoos, birth marks and other pigmentation problems. Dermablend brand is probably the best (made for hyper-pigmentation, tattoos, spider veins, birthmarks, vitiligo, etc)...I also know that Tattoo Camo is good.

Even laser doesn't remove them, I've tried it. It leaves a scar of a light light blue color, it looks even worse them bad tattoos. The only thing you can do is a cover, there days tattoo artists can do anything

Why did you get the tattoo then? Geez, why do girls like getting stupid tattoos? Waste of time, money and a good way to damage your skin. Sexy? NOPE!

Now you want to experiment with corrosive acids to get it removed. Yes TCA works because it is corrosive and chemically burns the skin. Try to get it done under medical supervision.

yes it works but honestly if you do that you can burn your flesh and wind up with 3rd degree burns
