Taking a chromium supplement might help. If it is a true craving, you may be hungry for nutrients (dark chocolate has some antioxidants) - you could try whole food supplements like Alive! or Garden of Life. You could do a test to see if it is the chocolate or the sugar you crave by using cocoa powder by itself in a drink with stevia (a natural sweetener). If it satisfies, great. It is good for you. More likely though, it is the sugar in the chocolate that is setting up a vicious circle of addiction. The only way to break the addiction is to abstain cold turkey. Go without it and all other sugary foods and drinks (and white floury foods too) and within a week or two the cravings will be gone. If you give in and have a little, it will reestablish the addiction and you will need to start over.

you have to stop cold turkey!
get all the chocolate out of the house and whenever you crave it drink a huge glass of water with lime or lemon in it instead.
it's really hard to break the habit of sugar and caffeine, the more you eat the more you want.

You can start by reducing the carbs you eat. I use to have the same problem, having my cravings every 6 in the evening. Now I don't anymore. There's a scientific explanation for it.
