Ok you need to go to www.lds.org or www.mormon.org. There is a place to request information.

You can read about the Church online under the basic beliefs section. If you have any questions they can send a pair of missionaries to speak with you and explain the process of becoming a member. The following is a summary of beliefs

Joseph Smith was asked about the basic beliefs of the Church. He summarized the teachings and doctrines in 13 basic points which are known as The Articles of Faith of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are:
1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon this the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Good Luck, I was baptized a year ago and have never felt so welcome and loved. I have attended a few different wards (what we call our church buildings) and all the members have been kind and generous.

I also just spoke to my husband and he said to go to www.ldsmissions.net there you can see which mission you are near and contact them directly.

I would go to mormon.org as mentioned above. There are actually more members of the Church outside of the US than there are in the US, so you are not alone. The Church is true.

As to the above comment about the Bible, if they knew more about the Bible and how it was compiled, they would know that Revelations was not the last written book, and therefore the statement that nothing should be added doesn't make sense in the context they are using it. It also states something similar to this in Deuteronomy. Anyway, no big deal. Mormons are often misunderstood. You need to get your information from the source as you would if you studied anything. Good luck.

hey, go to lds.org at the top of the screen there is a spot that says country sites, right next to the window where you find the word english, which is to pick a language. click on that, and you can find a site link to where u are. if yopu are in canada, then go to ward websites, and find a chapel. you can also contact the church and ask them to send missionaries to you. or if you know a mormon, ask them where the nearest church is. or if you have one where you are, you can look up the church in the phone book. thank you, and God Bless. One mormon to another soon to be. congratulations of finding the truth!

Thats the worst religion on the planet my friend. John Smith made up a book that mormons worship. Mormons say they follow Jesus but in the bible it clearly states nothing shall be added or removed to this bible. So the mormon religion isn't truely following Jesus' teachings because his teachings are based on the bible which he told the apostles to write and spread knowledge of over the world. I
I'm not necessarily saying that this religion is 100% right (Christianity) but Mormons were last in line and got the sh!ttist religion when they were handing them out.

There needs to be a mormon church/center located in that country. You need to contact them and they will help you as long as you keep donating money to the church.
