I live in the U.S. and I would like to move to Canada. What would I need to do to get the Canadian Governments okay to move there?

Depending on your plans and circumstances, it will take anywhere from 1-3 years, perhaps less if you want to a student visa, or if you have a job already lined up with an employer willing to sponsor you. Will also cost you around $1,500 between all fees and expenses.

Go to the Canadian consulate in your area and begin immigration proceedings. You would only run into major difficulties if you have major illnesses or criminal record.

yea i know i would want to move here too just be an good example please. you have to have something to offer or be related to someone who already lives here
