How did the custom of the groom sucking the bride's toes originate? What is its point?

I have NEVER been to a wedding in which the groom sucked her toes. Removed the garter yes, toes NO. That's completely inappropriate.

???? never heard of toe thing! I dont know where that garter thing came from. The bride traditionally throws the bouquet to her bridesmaids and who catches it is labeled next to wed.
Same thing for the garter...Groom throws the garter but the guys dont like to catch it....hahaha

There is no point, and it originated in a trailer park in the middle of the boondocks, where people had been marrying their first cousins for centuries.

Those are very unsightly and make the neck look large. I would remove it ASAP.
