On the 1st of January next year until 31 december 2013 the EU will have a 7 year budget, and will reafirm a covernant with many, not make a new one. The book of Daniel says that the covernant will be renewed, like this one will be. Lets face it, Iran will have nuclear weapons by 2009 with the help of Russia, the EU has a deadline to finalize its military army by 2010. IF this is the 7 years written in Daniel, then the rapture is not too far away. I really believe the antichrist is alive today. A lot of skeptics will say, Ever generation has said that. Maybe, but we have more reason to believe that Jesus will come back in this generation than any other. Israel only became a nation again in 1948 which was biblical prophecy in the making. Jesus would not come back if Israel was not back in her land, and they are now. The number 666 can be reconised today in the EU, and it has a vacant seat next to it, waiting to be filled. It was created in the year 2000. Time is close christians.

Yes, the time does appear to be close at hand, but remember no one knows the day or the hour. That is the importance of choosing today who you will follow. The signifcance in thinking it could happen at any time is that you are always on your guard so that when the day does come it does not take you by surprise. But remember there will be many people who will claim to be prophets and even the Christ, but do not believe them. Wait until the day where the trumpet sounds and all the earth will proclaim.

You know Your Bible well,As You state many will say blah, blah, we heard this before.I think you are correct ,I read the Bible too, the most convincing part is Israel reclaiming there land.What I do not know it was it EU.I hope we are right, People think that is awful, I have kids and grand kid, They have hard lives , we all pray, cry, suffer.I would be very happy if Jesus came today and we have no more sorrow.Jesus said the time will be shortened or no flesh could be saved { a nuke } It may be today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we should just try to live our lives in a good manner like God wants us to and not worry about it. This could be the start of events that could happen a hundred years from know, or it could be the real deal, but we just need to let God's will come to us and not worry.

Invite the leaders of all the various religions and their sects. The sectarian violence must stop. The World needs a UN type organization to work out the belief disagreements, as the religions always resort to violence.
