I've always thought that store-bought meat would be too impersonal. To me, a sacrifice should not be easy. If you are giving up something that doesn't matter, then what's the point? I think that a hunted animal, where the best piece of meat is given to deity would be best. Then the rest of the animal can be shared in a feast or divided up among members of the family to feed them throughout the winter. But I've never given meat as an offering. I usually give fruits, wine, milk and cheese. I don't have a problem purchasing those items in a store but I prefer to buy things as close to where they were made as possible (ex. a dairy farm, farm market, winery).

Tough question. I suppose that it wouldn't matter at all how you do it. If you sacrificed a stuffed animal, a plastic toy cow, or a real animal, it really wouldn't make any difference. Why would God even care? Wouldn't a god be much happier to see that you are being kind to other people and worrying about their welfare than worrying about how to sacrifice something in a ceremonial ritual. Unless, of course, you believe that what that god wants is ceremony rather than any kind of goodness in your heart.

You would be committing a big sin!
We no longer have to sacrifice animals or burn incense or flog ourselves or any other of that old stuff in the OLD Testament!
Jesus came & sacrificed Himself for all of us forever! All we have to do is accept him, confess we are sinners & get baptized for the remission of sins.
Can you imagine the money some unsavory people would be making if we had to buy animals & fruits & vegetables & stuff like that to sacrifice to God for our sins?
In the Old Testament, this was done once a year.We are under New Testament law now.

That would be ignored by God.
Why? In the old Testament only the purest of priests were allowed in the inner temple where the sacrifices were laid and burned. Also Christ died as The ultimate blood sacrifice for mankind so we could 'come to the Father by Him' and be saved.
So. dude you are seriously out of date, as well as mentally disturbed!

You don't have to sacrifice a animal for God. In the Old Testament they did that to ask forgiveness but when Jesus died on the cross He died for our sin so we don't have to let an Innocent animal die for it

I think God prefers a fresh kill, but so long as you season the carcass right, I'm sure he would still accept store bought.

There is no reason to present a sacrifice. Jesus wiped that out when He died on the cross.
