i've got hair that's about chin length but i want to go a little shorter, i just dont know what style i want. i'd like something shaggy with lots of layers, but i'm wondering if shorter will look good with my face shape?
i'd really like something that's "trendy" or "scene" whatever you wanna call it, [grabs people's attention, and is "artsy"]
i kinda messed with it yesterday, tried to cut it myself, and screwed it up, so i definitely have to get it cut professionally, i just need ideas on what'd look good with my face shape that's shorter than mine is already.
can anyone help me?

here are some pictures of my hair right now[although my bangs are shorter cuz i messed with them]:

or maybe some pictures of shorter hairstyles that you think would look alright?

any help would be appreciated!

get your hair layered in the back and get it round brushed into a flip and keep the bangs swooped back around your forehead area. this would look great.

Do you have a regular hairdresser and one that you trust? If so, go in to him/her and give yourself up to them. As professionals we see alot of diffrent hairstlyes, and face shapes. We do actually like when people let us do what we think will look best. As long as you trust them! If you have any specifics, tell this this, such as.. I dont want bangs, or I still need to pull it up, or I dont like my ears showing... etc. Other than that, we tend to already have ideas in our head of what would look great, even before you ask. In my experience, Clients tend to love their hair when left up to the talented hairdresser... But a main thing... Make sure you trust this person!!!
Good luck to you!

My hairstylist is unquestionably one of my good chum's mothers. She's been doing it for sort of 30 years i believe? i admire her because of the fact she seems to know what she's doing, this is at her residing house so this is much less noisy and there is no one else there so it makes me extra comfortable, we communicate for an prolonged time it quite is something I oftentimes do no longer do to human beings in hair salons, and he or she's additionally much less costly besides! $40 for an entire head dyed and cut back! this is oftentimes $one hundred at my previous hairstylist. She's additionally very friendly and is so candy. i will in fact refer to her approximately something particularly. My previous hair stylist grew to become into sort of quiet so at situations it grew to become into awkward. you basically could desire to bond which comprise your shopper! i'm hoping that enables you!
