i had a girl friend that left with out a trace after a year and i have beev hartbroken for the last 8 months. i thought i would be with her forever.

as for my kitty i had him sience i was 5 and i am not 20. i went to college and he ran away from the place i sent him to. it was not ust to little kids so he ran to get away from my cousins daughter who is 3. by the time i got home sevreal months ago i figure he was dead so i did not try to look for him but i miss him.

if i ever think about both at the same time the pain from losing my kitty is much worse. is this normal?

is it normal to realize how much you messed up with the way you trested your pet? i did not pay as much attention as i should have as i got older.

I think it hurts more because the love between you and your cat was unconditional. A pure love.

Even though you loved your gf and she loved you, it most likely wasn't unconditional.
