I had six honest serving men. They taught me all I knew: their names were Where and What and When and Why and How and Who.

Generally, the order would be the interrogative word (when, where, etc.) directly followed by the verb or verb part.

When does the game start?
Where is my coat?
Why did he leave?
How do you open this cabinet?

Notice that if "did" is involved, the subject comes between the form of "did" and the rest of the verb.

Well, I really don't even understand your question, especially when you are using the word "verb" as a possesive. It makes no sense.
