You can sue and you would win due to a no show. However you will have a very hard time collecting.

I don't know about the workman's comp issue, but stuff like this is pretty clearly why the Catholics have saints - to intercede and bring stuff up to God. Maybe you could talk to a priest and find out which saint handles work issues?

I Guess God wants you learn that look before you leap. Standing on soapbox to speck is and art and falling from it makes you lean that you need to check the box properly before to stand on it to speak.
