I know Viral,radiation,bone marrow disease etc can cause low white blood cell count.My wbc is low from Lymphopena on my last 2 cbc I was on medrol 6 weeks prior,and a steroid cream could that cause it?Oddly to on my bloodwork up I have had a ton ana you name it,my reticycle count was high,which my Dr says means healthy bone marrow..Would that rule out Leukemia?Also is lymphoa associated with lympoenia??

leukaemia is cancer of the bone marrow (white cells), usually associated with high white counts(over production of immature white cells that dont work), low platelets and haemoglobin. Usually if you have leukaemia you have blast cells (immature cells)in your blood work too.

I was just doing a web search for MEDROL, seems to be an immunosupressant, which would cause your low white count. While your marrow recovers stay away from people with illness especially chicken pox.

The doctor who gave you this drug should have warned you, if you was to get sick with something like chiken pox because you have low white cells it could have been life threatning. Have given you a link to this drug.

I'm sorry; I don't have enough medical knowledge to properly answer this question. I recommend that you ask your doctor this question. I'm sorry you didn't get an explanation when you learned about your low white blood cell count.
