I think its kinda like perverted. I mean if I was a guy I would think its similar to fuking a child!
I have noticed though, that most men like this are terribly insecure. Cause any tall men I know, who date short women are insecure BIGTIME...and then this one guy I know who is six three has a five eleven wife and he loves it.

In summary, men like women who are at least a little shorter than they are. It makes us feel more manly. Now, the women I've seen on Answers over time seem to be the ones pushing for such a huge height difference. I've seen 5'-ish women go on and on about dating men 5'10" and up. It seems like most women here think the average height for men is about 5'11", two inches taller than it actually is. There are lots of normal-sized men who would love to date shorter women, but find it difficult because the short women want above-average men.
But no, the preference isn't because of perversion or anything. How come people don't complain so much about women who prefer really tall men? Are they perverted too? Or just stupid?
Your example, 6'3" to 5'11" is not a big difference. That's how it should be ideally. Good night!

Tall men usually like short women. I don't know what's the real reason but that is true. On the other hand I've seen tall women who like shorter men as well. I think it's in the instinct of mankind.

I think men have their ego connected with the height/income etc. But from girls perspective the height issue has an interesting point:
If girl is shorter then boy, she will always look into eyes of boy by lifting her head up that means "always chin up", while boy has to come down to talk to his lady....ummmmm sounds good for girls...isn't it?

how about the other way around , my wife is 5 ft, and I am 5.4, but my wife is not insecure at all.
