It is not a problem to get a tattoo is you are diabetic, but you do need to make your artist aware of your medical condition. They are able to deal with diabetics, and should be aware of the risks that go along with tattooing a diabetic if they are an experienced artist. The problem would be in healing, but talk it over with your artist, and they could give you some advice about that, as well. I would think that dry healing your tattoo would most likely be the best because it would seal up more quickly, therefore less chance of an infection getting in.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Just to be safe, you may want to check with your doctor, as you know you are a little more prone to infection. If a tattoo is properly done and cared for, the risk of infection is low. Also, speak to your tattoo artist, they may want clearance from your doc that it is ok.
As an aside, there was recently a diabetic girl that had to have a mastectectomy after a nipple piercing that went wrong. This is definitely a rare occurrance.

You should be alright, make sure your levels are alright. The problame is that people who have diabetes and have had it for a while have some circulation issues. So it might take longer to heal than a normal person and the increase risk for infection. Just make sure you take really good care of it and at the 1st sign of infection see a doctor.

I also have T2 and I had no problems with the tattoo I got (it is on my back though).
If your levels are under control I don't see it would be a problem.
The only thing that would be of concern is if you have any circulation problems in your legs but if you don't - go for it. Just make sure to take good care of it while it is healing.
Enjoy!!!!

It is dangerous for anyone to get a tatoo whether you have diabetes or not- the risk is inefection. I see no reason why you should be considered a higher risk because of your diabets.
good luck--- get something unique like a pic of my avatar

I would suggest that you consult your doctor before doing it. Not everyone is the same even if you share the same medical condition. It is better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!
