Well, it's not easy to convert anyone to a religion that they are not accustomed to. Imagine yourself converting... coming face to face with the fact that your lifetime of beliefs may have all been a lie. That would be kinda hard to swallow. I think all you can do is let your actions do the talking, and don't be judgemental.
Try not to listen to the shallow-minded people like Dinner.
Pray for them.
I'll be praying for Dinner.

Religion is a very private subject, as it should be. I am religious, but I never preach to others in order to sway their beliefs to coincide with mine. I simply lead my life the best that I can, and as such, I am relatively happy and fulfilled. I honestly pity people who cannot grasp things existing outside of their 5 senses, but that's their decision and it's none of my business. For me, the concept of being born into this world for the sole purose of rotting in the ground after you've led a meaningless existence, makes ZERO sense.

Christians can be faithful, speaking the truth in love but until God changes the atheist heart to love truth and love God.... it aint gunna happen

Providing evidence that Christianity is actually true. Even showing some evidence that it is more likely than the other thousands of other religions would be a good start.

I looked death in the whites of his eyes and it didn't make me convert. If getting that close to death didn't convert me, believe me, nothing you say is going to make me convert to Christianity.
