Wow that's a hell of a swallow. She's not a gonner, but you should at least give the vet a call. I knew a girl who's cat swallowed an entire pair of panty hose. The cat didn't eat for two days, until they realized what had happened. Somehow they where able to grab the end on the pantyhose with pliers, and pulled this mucus covered, partiallly digested, wet mess out of the cat, and she never had any related problems afterward. How can you be sure your dog swallowed a golf ball? Did you actually see it? My dog chews up my kids action figures. One time the kid couldn't find one of his toys, and a few days later I was picking up dog poop in the backyard and to my suprise, there was Batman (arms, legs, torso, and head) all chewed up, but also all in the same pile of crap. I didn't have the heart to tell the kid that I found Batman. Another time she ate a box of crayons. Couple days later, yep, you guessed it. Multi-colored Crayolaturd. The strange thing about it was that the turd itself was all crayon, (no fecal matter). It was like you could have picked it up, and drawn a picture wtih it. Good luck with the pooch.

You sir are a moron. If you can't think up a legitimate question, then don't bother asking any at all. But just in case you really are that stupid, take the dog to the vet immediately. She's not getting fat, she's being poisoned by the waste buiilding up in her body that she can eliminate because the golf ball is blocking her system. Once the dog has recovered from the needed surgery, ask the vet to find her a good home, then go buy yourself some more golf balls. You might be cruel to them, but at least the golf balls aren't living, breathing creatures that you can hurt.

Thats a bowl obstruction surgery and it needs to happen fast. If there is significant blockage of the intestine, she could go septic pretty fast. Your dog is not going to squeeze something that size out. However I'm guessing with that size it never made it into the small intestine. It is likely blocking passage from the stomach into the small intestine. Brace yourself, this is going to be pricey.

OMG. Stop wasting everyone's time if you don't care about your dog at all or you're making stories up.
If your dog really swallowed the ball it needs emergency surgery. It is a major obstruction and your dog is in pain.
Stop wasting everyone's time making this stuff up. People here respond because they care about dogs, not golf balls.

get her to a vet your sick twisted moron. personally i think you should find the dog a good home and not in one with you. then you should swallow a golf ball and find someone to squeeze you. i think from all the drugs you're a gonner. and the world will be a more beautiful place.

Please take her to the vet.
golf balls, can be an especially potent choking hazard. Golf balls poise an additional danger because the liquid inside is often toxic; your dog can become very sick if she manages to pierce the outer coating with her teeth.
