When you see her in the halls, you can wave "Hi" to her. or if you 'accidentally' bump into her, you can be like "I'm sorry.. hey, aren't that girl in my ___class?" and you can evolve that into a conversation. You can start talking about your classes (like how hard that test was!) and ask her about herself. I hope this helps! :]

Well I'm a girl Maybe this advice should work..
I think you should sit next to her in class then drop your pencil (on purpose)
She'll probably ask you if that's your pencil
then pick up your pencil
After class when your leaving the door go at the same time as she does if she is carrying anything like books bump into her. When she drops her books, help her pick the books up.
Then ask her if she would like to hang out with you after school. If she says yes you guys could study 4 a test, go bowling, or to see a movie
Then if you guys start talking a lot and hanging out from time 2 time when you are waiting for her somewhere you should ask her to the dance.
Hope this works

First off saying Hi is alway's a good conversation starter and then ask her about a homework assignment in one of your classes you have together and ask if she'd like to do the assingment together. also let her know that you'd like to get to know her better for you like her and want to be frinds and the go from there on asking her to the dance.B yourself though when yuo talk to her and are getting to know her better than that way it will make for a better friendship and possibly a relationship down the road.

Step one tell her that your last girlfriend died in a terrible crash.
Step two tell her you need a shoulder to cry on.
Step three tell her you used to do things on saturday night with your dead girl friend and now you have to sit at home alone.
Step four tell her that you have a new girlfriend even if you don't. Then she will asked you to the dance.
After all steps have been completed you will recieve an email from me saying, "well played old man"

If she looks like she knows what she is doing on an assignment pretend as if you do not understand, and ask her for help. It will make her feel good about herself and it will give you something to talk about. But just try not to act like you are too dumb.

thats a toughy. uhh... okay well after class, just say hi, let her know you know her and are interested. just keep doing that, and stare at her a lot, it will get her thinking and drive her crazy. be really mature about it, nothing wierd or creepy or like obsessive, just get her attention.
good luck on whatever you do!
