actually i have a science project withe this topic,i tested both red and white at the same time. All my calculations stated that the red candle would last the longest because of the die in the wax. But when i tested my theory the white candle lasted the longest (both were the same brand).

red one..that's why we always use red candle on birthday cake rather than white color..
