I always thought I wanted two. So I had two. Then I got divorced and later met a man that I am now married to...and he has two...so now I have FOUR! Then we decided that we would like to biologically share one...So now I am pregnant....due in 3 weeks. SO that's #5 in out house! I love all of the activity and laughter and all of the smiling faces at the dinner table....it's great. Of course they can also drive you up the wall....but Overall, I am very happy with the way things have turned out!
I do think that some irresponsible people have children without considering the cicumstances they are already in, and it drives me nuts to see a lady in line at the store using food stamps that has 3 kids under 5 years old and she is popping pregnant.....but being responsible and having the money and the means to raise multiple children is different. I wouldn't ever pop out babies unless I knew that I could take care of them! Unfortunatley, they don't require people to have a license to have children and they don't sterilize the people who shouldn't be having them at all!

I am one of 7 and i think it's great. my father isn't rich but he has a steady good job. he's the top tech 4 mechanic and fixes police cars and fire trucks. my stepmom just got a part time job. the youngest is 3 and the oldest is almost 23 years old ! i am the middle child. They both work but i don't know what my father would do if he never had kids in the house, it's almost amusing and a feeling of always beeing needed. He has his first when he was 20 and his last when he was 39!Oh and my mother got preggers on birth control.

I know several families with around 8 (some more, some less), they just love their children. From what I've been told 1/2 your brain leaves with the first child, the other 1/2 leaves with the second. So by the third child, you don't have any brain left anyway, so there is no difference between 3 and 8.

Having more than 2 kids...isn't a bad thing...or even more than 8...If you take care of each and everyone like they should be taken care of...Personally my limit is 4... I am half way there with a 5 yr old boy...and a girl on the way (any day now)...I'd like to have 2 more (hopefully 1 boy and 1 girl....have twins and get the last 2 taken care of all at once lol)...I personally would never have more than 4...
Unless of course... when the next time I decided to have kids (5+ yrs from now)....I have triplets (god forbid)...or something...
After this baby...I will be getting on the depo provera shot...for at least 4-5 years, until my fiance and I are ready for another one...but as soon as I hit baby #4...I will get my tubes tied after it is born....

So, what you're implying is that having children is not work? I think being a parent is probably the hardest job anyone could have. Just keep in mind the responsibility involved in not only carrying a healthy child for 9+ months, but raising that child to be
the best person possible. Child rearing is the ultimate sacrifice, but unfortunately there are people who don't appreciate the magnitude of everything it includes.

I am a mother of FOUR and love every bit of being a mom. I know the meaning of birth control and I chose LIFE. You do not have the right to judge people who enjoy having children. Children are blessings to many people. You may choose not to have children, but to judge others for having more than two is a little , well just plain ignorant. just because you do not agree you do not have to say we "have nothing else to do" or that we don't know the meaning of birth control, Find something more substantial to gripe about !

wow im sure there was a point in there somewhere.... anyway im having my third child. its not because im bored and yes i know the meaning of birth control. we choose to make each of our children. what is wrong with that ? they each have a college plan in place for them and we make more then enough money. im a stay at home mom. really what is the point of this ? what is wrong with you that you think people should only be allowed a set amount of kids? as long as they have love for them then they have all they need to take care of them. my husbands a civil eng. not like thats any of your bussiness.

I want to have more than 2, actaully 4 to be exact. When I am a grandmother I want all of my kids and grandkids to come over for Sunday dinner. I want to have a large family when I get older. I want to have alot of grandkids running around. And that really can not be achieved if I have only 2. Plus I had 2 siblings and always wish I had atleast one more.
