He was not the product of "the sons of God, and the daughters of men". The fallen angels that produced the Giant Races of Antiquity, are currently being held in "Tartarus". The term in the Book Of Jude was, "held in chains under darkness." They will be judged in the future by God Who knows all things, and have a place prepared for them in "The Lake Of Fire." Besides, they were far taller than Andre'. Read in Old Testament of OG, King of Bashan, who's bed was 26 ft or more long and 10 ft wide. That was a true giant, and the Scriptures also say that the giants have no Resurrection. They were hybrids, and not fully human, therefore not entitled to it. That was thrown in for free since you didn't ask for that information.

It appears you are refering to the passage in Genesis chapter 6 refering to the "sons of God" or the "giants". I would tend to think that Andre was not one of these. It seems evident that from the context of scripture that the Genesis 6 giants were a special group that God judged and no longer exist. Andre had a medical condition that caused his problem... the problem with the giants in Genesis chapter 6 (also refered to as the nephilim or 'fallen ones') was spiritual, not medical.

Andre was a great man. He was brilliant and funny and a tremendous athlete. I had the good fortune of meeting him and spending a short amount of time with him and I will never forget it. I gave him a ride in my taxi and he sat back there with his knees in his chin and said, "You, have a very roomy cab." He was a delight and I feel priviledged to have met him.
We are all children of God.
