In Ecuador and Peru we call it bividi, a spanish form from the "BVD" brand, by the way I love using tank tops, I've heard in other countries they call them camisetilla or musculosa

If for a girl, I would say 'blusa sin mangas'. For a boy, 'camiseta sin mangas' (camisa is like shirt... camiseta like t-shirt), or 'camiseta interior' those the guys use beneath their shirts, to sleep, or train
