True. But it has always been like that. Everybody is just concerned with themselves and only themselves, and they don't take the time to evaluate what's going on around them; therefore, they are trapped in their own little reality.

I agree! Allot of people act like looks and having loads of material things is so important. I know of people that act like just because they are doing good,that means the world is doing good or who cares because it's not them that is doing bad. I can't stand hearing about celebrities and everything they have. You don't need a big house and big fake breasts to go to heaven. The sun and moon will go dark in our life time. Jesus is coming. Seriously to your question though...I would say at least 99.9% of people are completely just tuned out or completely blind to the reality of our world today.

i think thats true but only for americans. most of the rest of the world, especially in the less developed countries, actually see the reality and their minds havent been clouded by the media and the conditions that americans and the british and the other developed countries have been.

i completely agree.
i always notice how people don't really care about anything. For example people who say they "hate politics" how can you hate politics? politics help decide your everyday life but people are just so absorbed by apathy.
And people who are only concerned with being pretty or celebrity magazines, getting rich, and being popular. As opposed to forming healthy relationships with friends, family and significant others. Or helping people.
Some people just really don't get what life is all about.
