If you believe in heaven or hell, the question is: why create both this life and the next? It doesn't seem very logical in God's part.

When God created the earth it was all good. Eden was like heaven on earth. When Adam and Eve sinned mankind and all creation became corrupted and subject to death. If Adam or Eve had eaten from the tree of life rather than the tree of konwledge of good and evil things would have been very different. Because earth is now corrupted Christians who die will go to heaven and wait the for fulfilment of God's plans for a new heaven and new earth which will take place following the second coming of Jesus.
Then Christians will have a heavenly body to live in the new earth. God has to institute an alternative plan because Adam and Eve messed up the first one!

the afterlife is just as physical as this one, the Bible teaches we are raised from the dead in immortal bodies. We inherit this earth once again after it has been remade to its former beauty.

The reason for this life is sin, and we cannot be simply brought to heaven at the end of it all, otherwise Jesus would not have had to die, and here in this life Christians would not have to go through much self-denial. The reason we live is to bring our characters back to the character of God, because if we get to heaven, our bodies change but our minds stay the same.

God bless!!

We're test driving this life. If we wreck it and foul it up on earth, why should God have to give us heaven.

It's our time to earn the wonders of heaven. A chance to prove if we can appreciate the mediocre, then we'll deeply cherish the finest heaven has.

Can't get something for nothing, kind of thing. Plus, I believe the condition of the world helps others look forward to peace, safety, and love everlasting. It's our reminder that we shouldn't be living just for this life, but for our eternal futures.

hitherto no one has proved that life exists after death.a person who does good deeds and does not do harm either physically or mentally creates heaven in this life on the earth and a person who does all bad deeds which cause trauma to others creates hell on this earth.

After life is a myth most people like to believe in when they have come to the point in there life's where they feel so burdened by just getting by.and feel stuck. That its easier to hope for something better after they die.Even subconsciously wish to die.Its sad If people knew this was it. One shot they would care and try a lot harder to happier.

Like my mother once said this is a training ground for Heaven. Thats if course it you know where you are going. God gives us choices and whatever choice we make in this life whether we have excepted Jesus and what he did for each of us, we will reap hat we sow. If we sow to living a life that is pleasing to God and excepting his Son, then we are on our way to Heaven. But if we do not except Jesus and live how we want to we will reap distruction.(A place of pure torment away from God, in Hell. Remember you reap what you sow.

There is no heaven or hell. We are God. We create our own heaven or hell on this earth and when we take our last breath - it's over.

What we do might not seem logical to an ant, either - but we have our reasons. Don't you think the logic of an omnipotent being might be a step or two above our own?

God created us.
We are NOT God.
God has a purpose(a very good and special one) for each and every one of us put on Earth.
Those who treasure God's will for us will accomplish.

When we cease to breathe anymore, we join God our Father for eternal life in heaven.

Good question. I believe nobody can understand anything about God. This life is a mystery which may only become clear after we die. Who knows?
