Don't do it. If it goes badly, every New Year's Eve from here on out will be tainted by the bad memory (for you and for her). Best to bring it up earlier, and if all goes well, you'll still have someone to kiss at midnight.

Well you still have a couple of weeks to find out how she feels about you. Give her something nice for the holidays with a romantic card. See how she responds to that and if she seems interested ask her to spend New Years Eve with you and give her a kiss at midnight. If she doesn't respond to the card and gift, then find someone else to be with for New Years Eve.

If the two of you are going out solo, she most likely likes you.... if your going in a group, it might not be the case...
Back to the first scenario.... if you two are going out for New Years together, she will probably dress nice for a "date".... dude, if it's only the two of you, it's an unsaid date, hence go for it, don't talk to her about liking her and if your close at midnight dancing or looking in each others eyes, kiss her.... Please do it, she'll want it....
Scenario Two: if it's a group thing, i would see how the night goes. Try flirting and dancing with her. Make sure you are near her at Midnight.... See if she looks you in the eyes. If she does when everyone else is kissing, go for it. or say playfully... "I can tell you wanted to kiss me all night" It's playful and if you want to take it a step further say, "I think we should have our good night kiss at midnight, to release the tension." ;) all very playful of course.

My suggestion is as the countdown starts whisper in her ear your feelings.. than ask her if you may kiss her. I wouldnt just kiss her unless you know she is okay with it, because if you are friends and she doesnt want to be kissed you may make her uncomfortable and freakd out. If she is up for it, she may kiss you first! You will just have to wait and see what happens! But think of something nice!

Well I am only a 13 yearold girl but it could end bad or it could end great! If I were you I would take the chance your whole life you will be wondering what if this could have happend or what about that? I honestly think it would be really cute and romantic and it would show her how sensitive you are and that you thought about it.

omg yes that is so cute, def kiss her on midnight!! she wont be suspecting it!!
just make sure you guys wont ruin your friendship if you breakup or something, that would be a really sad ending. since ur both 27 im sure you will be mature if it doesnt work out.
